School Data Managed

"Following the removal of primary levels, it would have been very easy to buy in one of the many expensive commercial packages that were on offer. Like many schools, we were not convinced that their clarity and ease of use would make them effective in the long term. Where Chris has been invaluable is that, as we developed our own approach, he was able to understand what we were looking for and ensure that our assessment principles were met. Assessment approaches are always evolving and Chris is just a phone call away when we need him."

Head Teacher

St. John Rigby Catholic Primary School

"Chris joined Biddenham in 2014 and was instrumentally in transforming our use of data to support improved student outcomes. A year after he joined the school had a successful OFSTED inspection and a great deal of credit must go to Chris for his work before and during the inspection in contributing to such a positive outcome. In a complex data world Chris brings success-enabling clarity. I cannot recommend him highly enough."

Head Teacher

Biddenham International School and Sports Colege

"We have worked with Chris for a number of months and have been impressed with the bespoke, professional service provided to our school. The data tracking system that has been devised saves us a considerable amount of time and allows us to focus on analysis, next steps and impact. The follow up support and advice has been excellent. Thank you."

Christopher Beeden

Managing Director

Christopher Beeden is the Managing Director of School Data Managed.  Christopher has 17 years experience of working with, and for, schools.

He began working for Capita in 1998, supporting schools in their application of SIMS and Nova software.  For the last decade, he has worked as part of schools’ Leadership Teams. He is an expert in Assessment at Primary, Secondary and Post 16 level.

He also specialises in the completion of School Census returns, timetabling, organisation of cover and examination administration.  More recently, he has supported the set up of two Free Schools in the local area and had key responsibilities in the development of a Multi Academy Trust.

Christopher is personable and professional; he is very aware of the contrasting needs of all the stakeholders within an educational organisation. He recognises the central role that data has come to play in education in the last decade – however, he also firmly believes that school improvement and the raising of educational standards begins and ends in the classroom.
